Total U.S. output of aerospace product and parts will expand 7% in 2008. This follows a rise of 13% in 2007.

This has been a cyclical industry in the past, but in the last three to four years the cycle has been replaced by a steady uptrend.

Total U.S. output of aerospace product and parts advanced 5% in June when compared with the same month last year. This followed a 5% rise in the previous month.
