The product is Mengniu’s first all-PE yogurt pouch designed for recyclability. Dow’s INNATE TF-BOPE (biaxial orientation polyethylene) is designed to enable recyclable packaging by offering appearance quality along with improved toughness and strength when compared with traditional PE film products.
Mengniu has set a goal to achieve 100% technically recyclable packaging by 2025, striving to adopt low-carbon packaging in all product lines. Mengniu's yogurt product with all-PE pouch will be unveiled at the 2023 International Dairy Forum, taking place August 4-7 in Hohhot, capital of the Inner Mongolia region, and will be first available in supermarkets across that city.
