Blown-film specialist Addex Inc. announced it has shut down its operation in Stoughton, Mass. The move means an existing existing facility in Newark, N.Y. which houses a pilot blown film line, will now be the company’s headquarters. Long-time Addex executive Robert Cree was named president of the firm, which makes a wide range of cooling and control systems for blown film. Addex co-founder and former president Rick von Krauss will remain active in the company on a part-time basis and will remain as chairman of the Addex board.
