Cable and Plug Range Heighten Electrical Safety

Hasco’s new H1251/… cable with aluminum shielding and PVC covering protects against interference signals.

Hasco now offers the H1251/… cable with aluminum shielding and a PVC covering as an economic alternative to its premium DIN 16765 cable, which features inserts, metal mesh shielding and a silicone sheath. The H1251/… cable has plug inserts and cables that enable fast and space-saving wiring of power and signal plugs to the mold.

Available in four different wiring variants and lengths of 3 and 6 m, the cables can be tailored to specific applications. The integrated fasteners don’t require tools to securely fix the strands, while a mechanism in the plug holds the cable firmly. As necessary with previous wiring, cable lugs are required, and Hasco says wiring time can be reduced by 75% compared to screw-in versions.

Recognizing the limited space in the mold area, Hasco’s new plug has 12 control zones and maintains a 16-amp maximum load capability. This means less space is needed for the plug connections in the mold. The bulkhead housing is identical to the previous six-zone plug inserts, and Hasco also offers a connecting cable to fit the new plug with legacy Hasco wiring.
