Fakuma: Metal Powder for Additive Manufacturing, Hot Runner Controls Among Show Intros
Hasco will unveil numerous new developments and additions to existing products, together with user-friendly tools, CAD features and digital services at Fakuma.
Mold component and hot runner supplier Hasco is planning numerous innovations at Fakuma (Oct. 12-16; Friedrichshafen, Germany; Hall A2 / Stand A2-2202). Hasco now offers a metal powder for the additive manufacture of complex geometries. Available in the steel grades 1.2709 and 1.4404, Hasco says the powder stands out because of its very high quality and ideal combination of particle size and spherical accuracy.
In addition, Hasco will feature a new multicoupling system that allows the central connection of cooling lines, and a locking system for ejector assemblies that it says guarantees damage-free transport of tools. A new round locating unit, meanwhile, ensures precise alignment of injection molding tools and mold inserts.
Hasco’s component portfolio for the show is rounded off by numerous additions to its range of cooling and latch-locking devices, with a variety of combination possibilities, plus around 170 additional ejector sizes.
On the hot runner side, Hasco will showcase the Primezone H1281/… range of control units, together with a new 4-fold control unit of the Basezone H1250 range. Both control units reportedly offer intuitive operation, precise control and maximum production reliability.
Another area of focus will be the Streamrunner. The additively manufactured hot runner system will be available in the future in a needle-valve version. This can be seen on the Hasco stand in the form of a compact, fully balanced 20-fold system. Another innovation in the portfolio of needle valve shutter technology is the flanged, pneumatic needle valve unit.
Hasco will showcase numerous innovations at the Fakuma show in Friedrichshafen.
